SDC lined up for industry award

Sovereign Development Consortium has been named as a finalist for the UK Housing Awards 2007.
The southern England based development alliance is one of six shortlisted for the “working efficiently to deliver improvement”, capping a momentous year that saw SDC set up a Consortium-wide supply chain system, deliver more than 200 new homes through its four framework contractors, and set up a pioneering extranet to improve communications between partners and suppliers.
SDC members are keeping their fingers crossed at the awards ceremony – run jointly by CIH and Inside Housing magazine – at Park Lane Hilton on November 8, which will showcase the wide variety of improvements underway across the social housing sector.
